PARMA
BLANCHE
blanche with a fresh and citrusy aroma, with captivating spicy hints.
The reference beerstyle is Blanche, in a purely classical meaning. While White Riot carries on the concept of experimental and modern balance, its sister Parma Blanche is much more adherent to the classic view of Belgian-style wheat beer. Its grist is made up of two 100% Italian malts, Pilsner Malt and Cappelli Durum Wheat Malt, both produced and malted in Puglia. The Belgian Witbier yeast, which gives a discreet peppery spiciness, comes from Veneto. To underline the hints of yeast and hops, grown and harvested in Agro Pontino, we use bitter green orange zest from Calabria and very fragrant coriander, also of Italian origin.
tasting notes
The beer has a pale yellow color with opalescent reflections. A white and abundant foam protects its delicate aromas. The citrus aromas of hops stand out on the nose, while the spicy hints of coriander, typical of this style, accompany the aromas of Pilsner malt and Cappelli malt. When tasted, the beer emerges from the spiciness with a smooth and round body and a very easy drink. The hops emphasize the citrus and give a pleasant dryness that cleans the palate and invites you to take a new sip.
