settembre
italian grape ale
The missing link, the point of junction between two distinct but close universes: beer and wine.
IGA, Italian Grape Ale, is the first Italian style recognized and included in the BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program).
Settembre is an Italian Ale characterized by the presence of grapes, in our case linked to the territory of origin: organic Malvasia. Grapes are added to the must and, thanks to the microfauna present on the peels, a spontaneous fermentation is triggered. After two months of maturation, the brewed beer is separated, spending a few months of refinement to allow secondary fermentation.
IBU (bitterness): the higher the number, the more bitter the beer is.
EBC (color): the higher the number, the darker the beer is.
